Cathy Lanier

Cathy Lanier is the Chief Security Officer of the National Football League, overseeing security across the league office and all 32 clubs. She previously served as Chief of Police of Washington, D.C. from 2007 to 2016—the first woman and longest-serving chief in the department's history. Under her leadership, she implemented strategies that reduced violent crime by 21 percent while the city's population grew 15 percent.
